The truth is solar and batteries have their limitations.  For some homes, their solar orientation or available roof space prevent us from being able to put in that 100% power plant, so in the event of a power outage the solar would only be able to handle a portion of the homes load.   Batteries which can store the power from even the above modest system can quickly become cost prohibitive for many clients particularly larger homes.  

As we are committed to sensibly transitioning the world to clean energy, we are often faced with the practicality gap in what can be done and what our clients want or can afford   That is unless you accept that liquid natural gas, while in the final analyses is a fossil fuel, is a cleaner burning fuel that most grid power and can quite affordably and successfully power even the largest of homes in the event of a power outage.  

As we work our way to the day of 100% sustainable energy grid wide, there are sensible and effective steps we need to take along the way, and Genrac generators are just that.
